
Jennifer Di Domenico has over 11 years of energy management and building science experience and has been involved in more than 250 energy management and building science projects, which have included building systems audits, design of renovations to existing buildings, developing maintenance programs, preparing standard operating procedures, and building condition assessments for capital and reserve fund planning and pre-purchase studies.
Jennifer’s career is focused on assisting owners and property managers of existing commercial and multi-unit residential buildings identify opportunities for energy savings and design repairs/renovations to optimize these savings. She also prepares repair specifications in accordance with the energy efficiency requirements of the Ontario Building Code for residential and commercial buildings for disaster restoration.
In addition to building science work, Jennifer has been involved in the assessment and design of stormwater management plans for small industrial and commercial properties; she has prepared methodologies and overseen the demolition of commercial, institutional and residential buildings; and was the on-site project manager for the Ed Lumley Centre for Engineering Innovation.
She obtained a Masters of Applied Science degree from the University of Windsor in Environmental Engineering and has obtained Certified Energy Manager and Certified Energy Auditor designations from the Association of Energy Engineers.
