Join the AEE Southwestern Ontario Chapter for a guided tour of Hiram Walker & Sons in Windsor.
A working distillery since 1858, the Hiram Walker site has run through Confederation, Prohibition and 160 years of process change on the Detroit River. It earned a Royal Warrant from Queen Victoria in 1898, built the town of Walkerville around it, and still operates as a grain-to-glass distillery today. For energy people, it’s a rare chance to see a continuous industrial operation at this scale from the inside.
We’ll walk through the plant and then the distillery, followed by a conversation and networking over drinks.
