AEESWOSC (Association of Energy Engineers Southwestern Ontario Student Chapter) Is recognized as the first AEE student chapter developed in Canada. Established in November 2018, It is the winner of the 2020 AEE student chapter recognition of excellence award. The student chapter is currently made up of energy enthusiast students from different engineering disciplines at the University of Windsor. It is based at the E.D. Lumley Centre for Engineering Innovation (CEI).
The student chapter serves as a bridge between energy professionals and University of Windsor students from different fields. We organize different events such as Panel events, where different energy professionals speak on their day-to-day activity, projects worked on, and the future of the energy sector.
